13 July 2009: Steritrox Ltd, the leading developer of a patented process for rapid room sanitation and disinfection for the food and healthcare sectors, has appointed Alwin Thomson as its new Chairman.
Mr Thomson brings to the company over 20 years of experience from the food-processing sector. He was formerly Executive Chairman of Inter Link Foods Plc, the second largest cake supplier in the U.K. with a turnover in excess of £130m and profits in excess of £7m. Having started the business himself he oversaw the growth of the company through to its listing on AIM in 1998 when turnover was approximately £9m and thereafter crafted its accelerating growth until his retirement in 2007.
